Stitching from your stash? These in-the-hoop projects put scraps to good use!
Sometimes, it is fun to just grab the fabric that you have on hand and make something pretty. You may be surprised how useful even the smallest pieces of fabric can become. Whether it is applique or piecing in the hoop, your scraps can turn into one of these wonderful embroidery projects.
Crazy quilt designs were made for scrap fabrics. Crazy Baby Series 2, Part 4 from Molly Mine mixes and matches prints with adorable embroidery using the stitch and flip method of piecing followed by embellishments over the seams.
Make special features of fabric pieces the focal point of an applique, quilt block, or pieced in-the-hoop project. Patchwork Quiltblock 5 from Stitch Delight is a great example of using pretty accent fabrics with lovely quilting.
If you do not have a scrappy stash at hand, strip and square fabric precuts work perfectly and coordinate beautifully.
