Add a bold mat and turn framed embroidery into stunning artwork.
Red, black, and white have always been a classy combination. Secrets of Embroidery Facebook Group member Lorene Odekirk emphasized the red accent color and her final project took on a professional look.
With a diamond stitch background and layers of curls, the design breaks out of traditional two-dimensional embroidery.
Framing the embroidery as it is would be nice, but Lorene took her project even further. Pulling the red color from the hat, she added a mat to the framed ensemble. It makes all the difference in the world. It takes nice embroidery to the level of a true work of art.
Nice job, Lorene!
