Piece in the hoop and quilt as you go for stunning results even the most novice of embroiderers can achieve!
It really is not any different than any other in-the-hoop project. Easy-to-follow directions show you what to do every step of the way.
Start out hooping a cut-away mesh stabilizer. The first color stop stitches out where the batting should go.
The next color stitches to show where the first piece of fabric is placed.
Place the fabric and stitch the next color to attach it to the batting and stabilizer.
According to instructions, place the next fabric along the stitching line
and run the next color to secure it to the first fabric.
After stitching, open the fabric, right side up, and secure in place.
Continue stitching until all of the fabrics for the block are attached in the hoop. The same technique works for the vertical blocks.
After pieces are pieced in the hoop, the quilting motifs and cute sayings will be stitched.
How much the stitches show depends upon how much your thread contrasts with the fabric.
Blocks are trimmed to size and stitched together. Add a backing and binding and quilt in the ditch. Build projects, making everything from a wall hanging to a runner or quilt top.
