Organize your creative space. It is so much easier to be creative when your space is organized. There are lots of embroidery projects you can make to help keep supplies and notions tidy.
Label stabilizers and make sure they are easy to find.
Tame your wild bobbins and get them under control. You can find some creative ideas here.
Sort your fabric scraps.
Get ready for future projects. Think birthdays, Christmas, etc. Even if you are not going to finish them now, you can get all of the components ready. Cut fabrics, batting, even stabilizer. Number and mark pieces and you are good to go once you sit down to sew.
Learn something new. Step out of your comfort zone and try a new embroidery technique.
How are you spending your down time?
