Need Help Aligning Split Designs

I have split my design and am ready to stitch it out. However, I am not clear as to how to correctly align the split designs so they stitch out perfectly. Can anyone help with this? Is there a tutorial or PDF that explains this process? I understand about the alignment threads and such, just need more understanding as to how to place my centermarks and properly place the design back in the hoop once the first split is stitched out.

Thanks so much! Darlene

Hi Darlene,

Which embroidery software are you using? We have a great Embird tutorial that covers splitting designs at Secrets that could help you.

Kind regards,
Margaret

I used Amazing Designs and I have all of them split and printed out. I understand how the placement happens. My problem is how to get them properly hooped. I have a very hard time lining up the registration marks so that they are centered and in the proper placement. I will usually be off a couple stitches or sometimes I’m not exactly straight when I start to stitch out and realize it too late.

I use Nancy Zieman’s Place & Stitch embroidery product. It’s solved all my alignment problems and works with ART, DST, EXP, HUS, PES, and VIP formats and any editing software or machine. Best Christmas gift my husband ever bought me!
