Embird & Janome Customizer

I am unable to interface Embird with Janome Customizer. When I open Janome customizer I am not able to see the designs, all I see is a picture of a sewing machine with the word jef on it…… and I used to be able to see the design like I do in windows explorer..
Thank you – Grace

Hi there,
In Embird Manager go to Options/Associate Extensions and click on the Search for Embroidery Software button at the bottom of the screen. Embird will look for your Janome software. Once Embird has found the software click OK and you should be able to then see your designs in Customizer. Also make sure that under Options/Iconiser Settings that you have the Janome format selected and click OK.
Close Embird and then re-open once more.
I hope that helps.
Kind regards
Carolyn Keber

Recently I noticed none of my PDF files show a picture. They used to and, I assume, that was because Embird enabled an iconizer for all my PDF files. Is this an Embird problem or an Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF problem? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Miki,

As far as I understand, Embird has no influence over Adobe Reader, so I don’t think Iconizer will have anything to do with your lack of images when viewing a PDF. Try uninstalling your Adobe Reader, then install the latest version from the Adobe Site and see if that makes a difference.

Kind regards,
