I have a Designer SE and at one time tried to download updates from viking website, I do not know what went wrong, but I can not retrieve any of my designs from sewing machine.   I keep getting the message Device Disconnected. Need help. Viking did not help me. - Ann

I’m trying to send a design file to my husqvarna designer diamond using 4d organizer but when I click on the send to button, I get a message that says windows system error, please close and restart. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I’m running windows vista 64 bit.  I’ve tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling and no luck. I can send to the usb stick just fine. Thanks

New to embroidery was wondering what digitizing programs everyone is using. Is anyone familiar with the program Stitch Era Liberty? Would like to know your thoughts on this program.

Does basic Embird deal with density? Sometimes the density of certain designs are too much and I would like to reduce that? - Ellen

Hi Ellen

Yes, Embird Editor will be able to alter density in designs. Go to Edit/Set Density or Pattern on the Menu Bar and screen will open up with a number of options to solve any density problems.

Does Studio have a stipple fill that will fill in around a design?

Hi Melissa, 

Yes, Embird Studio does have a stipple stitch however I don’t think that it’s a great stitch to use as its too regimented as it still follows a line style rather than the random stitch that a true stipple stitch should have.

To that end I wrote to Dusan some months ago regarding this issue and suggested that perhaps he could create a more “true” stipple stitch. I sent him samples of what I meant and he has promised me that he will incorporate this into Studio but it will take extra programming and therefore some time for him to do. But it is coming - I just don’t know when.

In the meantime if you want to use their current stipple style check under the Motif stitch patterns.
