Retro Purse Fronts are three applique designs representing the best of fashion from the fifties, sixties and seventies.
Each design incudes a border satin stitching to make a finished edge for ease in gluing to a store bought bag.
Although these applique embroidery designs are especially intended to be used as purse fronts,
they would be just as fun stitched on the back of a jacket, added to a quilt or used to embellish some other wonderful work of art!
The Sample photos show the Sixties Purse Front stitched onto a cloth purse.
The Fifties Purse Front has been glued to a cigar box, and the Seventies Purse Front is actually a small backpack.
These designs are all sized for the 5x7 hoop.
