Children are the ultimate gift to parents and grandparents. By holding a grandchild's hand we see the future and through us they experience the past.
On December 14 2012 the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School ended the future of 20 little ones, in two classes, and six adults. Devastation in extremity! We feel that we need to grieve but find ourselves not sure what to do.
When school resumes for Sandy Hook, it will be in a new building. Parent-volunteers have worked to ensure that the students are welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated with as many unique snowflakes as possible. They now have enough snowflakes to decorate the entire school and encourage you to make a winter wonderland in your own community.
Use the snowflake below to create this winter wonderland in memory of all the previous lives lost. |
