These in-the-hoop projects are for 5x7 journals commonly found in the US in stores like Office Depot. The cover comfortably holds a 5x6.75 (up to 7") x 3/4" journal and can be made in 5x7 hoops or larger. Please make sure that the journal measurements do not exceed these measurements.

Instructions for the covered elastic are part of your download. This cover is done in 3 5x7 hoopings. The actual stitch file size is 5.12x7.09".

Journal Cover Quilted Flower

This journal cover consists of a one colored modern flower design. The front and back (not the pocket) are quilted as part of the in the hoop embroidery process. The cover has a back pocket for a small calculator (or sticky pad) as well as two narrow pockets for a pen and highlighter. It also features an elastic strap that holds the journal shut. You may stitch out the center of the flower or leave off the embroidered center and use a button and ribbon to hold the button down instead. Also included is an exclusive ¾" monogram font.

Journal Cover Crazy Patch

The journal cover consists of a crazy patch style design, as well as a small flower design and the word "journal". The cover has a back pocket for a small calculator as well as two narrow pockets for a pen and highlighter. It also features an elastic strap that holds the journal shut when not in use. This cover is done in 3 hoopings. Construct the front first, then the back with pocket, and then in the last hooping you will combine the two parts by stitching a cover spine. Lots of photos in a PDF file included. No font is included.

Enter a search word: Easy - just click in this box, type in your search word and click on the GO button. Type in lowercase and don't use plurals, Don't use words like "the" or "and". Use American spelling.

You will see pictures of the designs found that match your search. Click on the pictures you are interested in to see the designs in full and all the details you need to know (description, size, price, special offers, etc).

2. Choose a category
Instead of searching for a word, choose one of our quick category searches from this drop down list. Then choose a sub-category from the box on the right. By clicking between the category list that on the left and the sub-category list on the right, you can see pictures of all our items. This is a great way to find what you want at Secrets.

3. Choose a designer
Another alternative is to select one of our designers from the drop down list, and can visit their specific website.
