Art Canvas Tutorial

In Art Canvas Mode you can load, edit and save graphics (pictures) as a backdrop for embroidery digitizing. The Bernina Artista Software includes an entire suite of CorelDRAW® Essentials 4 drawing tools. In addition, it provides capabilities to convert vectors and vector text directly to embroidery objects.

Block Editor Tutorial

Buttonholes Tutorial

This is a brilliant new feature in Artista Designer Plus V6 Software. It allows you to add a line of evenly spaced buttonholes to a design with the Add Buttonholes command. This makes it very easy to embroider a line of buttonholes on the front of a jacket or a blouse.

You don’t have to spend time trying to find out what the spacing between buttonholes should be. You simply put your measurements in and it will all be calculated for you!

Carving Stamps Tutorial

The Carving Stamp feature allows you to define a pattern of needle penetrations using a ‘carving stamp’ as a template. A carving stamp can be any vector and/or embroidery shape or shapes. A needle penetration is placed wherever a stitch intersects with the vector or embroidery shape. With the Carving Stamp feature, you can:

• Apply pre-defined digitised carving stamps to applicable objects
• Move/rotate/scale/reshape/delete carving stamps associated with an applicable object while in Reshape mode
• Create and manage your own user-defined carving stamps in a pattern library for future reference

Selected carving stamps can be applied to outline objects with Satin stitch type, and closed objects with Satin/Step/Fancy stitch types.

Fills Tutorial

Halo Outlines Tutorial

With this tutorial you will learn how easy it is to create an outlined design very quickly and with dramatic effects. Outline Design allows you to quickly create outline stitching around selected objects or entire designs with Single, Triple or Satin Line. You can also create perfect outlines around Lettering which could not be done in previous versions of this software. You can create a whole design using this effect.

This whole design was created without using any drawing tools in the Embroidery Canvas.

Multi-Hooping Basic Tutorial

Stippling Tutorial

Stippling creates a fill made up of running stitches which meander within a border such as quilt blocks. There are 3 types: Stipple Run, Stipple Backstitch and Stipple Stem stitch. Stippling can be applied to the same objects as Pattern Fill i.e. Closed Objects with or without Stitch Angles. It can be applied to Different objects. Stippling can be digitised as a full design and then you can insert a design on top of it with the option of removing the stippling behind the inserted design.
