Downloading - Step by Step Guide for using your Download Key This site is designed to work best with Microsoft Internet Explorer Scroll down the page to see help on how to re-set your link if you have trouble downloading. Download directions will be available on-screen immediately after your order is placed using our shopping cart and your payment confirmed. You will also be sent by email with your order confirmation.  You can also request a new download link at any time from your My Secrets Account area. Download Key You will be given a download key, or number that you need to copy.  It will be clearly marked as follows, either on-screen or in the email. (the email may not show it as blue) The following number is the download key for your order, which is valid for 1 download.  1234567 Write down the key (the blue numbers) or carefully select them with your cursor and press Ctrl-C (Copy) Make sure you don't include any blank spaces before or after the line of numbers. Download Link On the same page as your download key, there will be a link through to the download page. It will show as one of the following depending on if you are downloading from on-screen immediately after your order is placed, or with the download link sent by email. An on-screen link like this. Proceed to download page Or a link in an email like this. Both links will take you through to the download page when you click on them     The Download Page Either type your download key (as mentioned above) in the box provided, or if you used the Ctrl-C method, you now insert your cursor into the space and press Ctrl-V (paste)       You will now see Download buttons for each downloadable item you ordered. This example shows embroidery designs.  Each item needs to be downloaded individually. Just click on each button to start the download process, the File Download screen as shown below will open.     You will need to choose the format for any downloadable design ordered. For most designs you choose the format on the order page. However the free bonus set of designs was automatically added to your order without a format pre-chosen.   Choose the format now. Just use the drop down box to select your format and press Update button.   Your link to download the Spring Bonus will be updated to a download button.     File Download In this next screen, you may need to use the change button to navigate your way through your hard drive till you have a folder in the "Local Drive" box that you know you'll be able to find again later.  Also take note of the name of the file, at the end of the path in th Local Drive box.  Click Start Download.  Your screen may look different from this.        Saving Your File It is most important you take note of the folder location where you are saving your downloaded file to so you can locate it again after downloading.     Click on the Save In drop down box, or folder names to navigate your way through your local drive and choose the location where you are saving the file to.     After you are happy with the folder you have chosen, click the Save button.  We recommend you always download your files to the same folder so you can easily find them. We use one called My Downloaded Files within the C Drive.        Completing Your Download The file will start downloading and the green bar will show you a downloading progress report.  When the file is downloaded, the last screen lets you choose the action you prefer.    Note this screen also shows the area you downloaded to. C://My Downloaded Files and the File Name..      Click Open if you wish to directly open the zipped file here, or Close will close the box and you can open your downloaded file later.
