PE Design Lite/Palette Petite is an embroidery software program released by both the Brother and Babylock machine companies that allows the user to quickly create their own designs using an auto-digitizing method.

As well as automatic design creation you can create text lettering from the 35 included font styles in the program. This lettering can be added to your newly created design or added to existing embroidery designs that have been imported onto the Design Page screen.

PE Design Lite/Petite Palette is great for creating quick and simple designs – especially if you only wish to create a design quickly to add to a special project that you are creating.

PE Design Lite/Petite Palette is also used for sending embroidery designs to either the programmable card for your embroidery machine or writing the embroidery designs to the USB Pen or direct to your machine via the USB cable.

PE Design Lite/Palette Petite is an easy program to use once you have mastered the basics.

In the PEDS Lite/Palette Petite written tutorial you will learn – in an easy to follow step by step manner - how to create your own designs using Auto Punch so that they are ready for embroidery, plus it is explained which clipart images are the best to use and also ways around images that aren’t perfect. You will also learn how to create and add text and how to merge designs.

Also included is a lesson on downloading designs from the internet, opening them in your program and then sending them to your machine.

As well as the written tutorial (112 pages in PDF format) there are 19 videos to watch and learn which take you through the lessons in the written tutorial. By the time you have read the tutorial and watched the videos you’ll be very surprised at how much this “Lite” version of PE Design/Palette can actually do. You’ll be amazed at just what you can create with this program.

Find What You're Looking For

There are 3 ways to use it:

1. Search
Choose the type of product you are looking for: This is pre-set to Designs and will automatically search all embroidery designs on our site. You can choose from the drop down list to refine your search to one type of product, eg "Tutorials" or make it broader eg "All Products"

Enter a search word: Easy - just click in this box, type in your search word and click on the GO button. Type in lowercase and don't use plurals, Don't use words like "the" or "and". Use American spelling.

You will see pictures of the designs found that match your search. Click on the pictures you are interested in to see the designs in full and all the details you need to know (description, size, price, special offers, etc).

2. Choose a category
Instead of searching for a word, choose one of our quick category searches from this drop down list. Then choose a sub-category from the box on the right. By clicking between the category list that on the left and the sub-category list on the right, you can see pictures of all our items. This is a great way to find what you want at Secrets.

3. Choose a designer
Another alternative is to select one of our designers from the drop down list, and can visit their specific website.
