Shopping Cart - Step by Step Guide for placing your order at Secrets   What is a Shopping Cart? Our shopping cart has been especially built for our website and is designed to make your experience with us simple and fast. You can browse our extensive website and choose from a variety of projects, tutorials, programs, accessories and designs by many different designers.  Just like in a large store, you proceed to the checkout with your cart when you have finished.   How do I use it? All products available for order have a button like this next them together with a short description and price of the product. If you think you might like to make a purchase, just click on the Add to Cart button.  You can always remove items from your cart later on, at the checkout.    If you are ordering an embroidery design, you will need to choose your format first, from the drop down box next to the Add to Cart button. A message like this, at the top of the page, will confirm which product has been added to your cart. Either continue browsing and shopping on the site, or click View Cart to checkout.    Repeat this process, adding items,  until you are ready to check out.   The Checkout Page You will be then be transferred to our Shopping Cart Page to check out. All the products you have selected will be listed there. If you are signed into your My Secrets Account your name will show at the checkout.   Delete Using this button removes the product from your cart.   Add to Wish List  If you would like to remove a product from your cart, and save it to your wish list for later, use this button. It will then be saved to your wishlist in your My Secrets Account area.   Promotional Code  If a code is given as part of a promotion, enter it here and click the Update button.  Your cart will be updated to reflect the discount and the total will be changed.   Bonus Sets and Specials will show at the checkout. See Detailed Information on how these will show at the checkout, and how to change them.   Update Use this button to update your order if you use a Promotional Code, or are using Secrets Dollars as part of your Payment.   Select Your Payment  When you are happy with the contents of your Shopping Cart, select your Payment Method and complete your order. Click through to our Payment Page for full help and information on this.   Download and Delivery of your Order. Once your payment has been processed, tutorials, ebooks and designs may be downloaded at once. Printed books and CD's are mailed and should reach you within 7-10 business days. Having Trouble Using the Shopping Cart? The most common problem is caused by having your cookies disabled.  To change this, open Internet Explorer, go to the Tools Menu and then Internet Options.  Then click on the Privacy Tab.  There is a slider here that you can change your level of security.  We use Medium.  Try temporarily changing yours to Medium or lower and then placing your order again.   If you still have trouble ordering, your Antivirus, Internet Security or Pop-Up defence programs can all be culprits.  We recommend you try temporarily disabling these programs one at a time (by right clicking on the icon on your taskbar and choosing disable) and then try placing your order again to see if they are causing the problem of your cart being empty. You can also add our site to your firewall settings. Have a look at this link for more help doing this.  Our site is designed to work best with Microsoft Internet Explorer.  Are you using Netscape by any chance?  Sometimes this can cause trouble especially if you have an older version of Netscape.  It is recommended that you download the free upgrade to Netscape here
