ABC Crazy Quilt

We all love to be able to use up those little scraps of fabric we hoard, excuse me, save. This is a great project in which to make a dent in that stash. You could be surprised to find that your stash contains fabric with patterns that go with the ABC letters and designs.

Linda made 28 blocks and used 232 pieces of fabric, repeating only 6 in total. She tried to use each thread color only once but that got confusing after about 10 spools!

These blocks are really quite quick to make, only the "Z" is more than 25 minutes stitching time. Most range from 15 to 20 minutes.

You can also use them without the designs for a fill in block or change it up by adding your favorite little design. As well as making a spectacular quilt top, you can make soft baby blocks with these squares too.

Each block has a stitch line around the block size, so that when you finish stitching, you can take a rotary cutter and a square edge and trim a 1/4 inch seam allowance on all 4 sides. You will have a 4.5, 5.5 or 6.5 inch square block, depending on the size you choose.

Find What You're Looking For

Enter a search word: Easy - just click in this box, type in your search word and click on the GO button. Type in lowercase and don't use plurals, Don't use words like "the" or "and". Use American spelling.

You will see pictures of the designs found that match your search. Click on the pictures you are interested in to see the designs in full and all the details you need to know (description, size, price, special offers, etc).

2. Choose a category
Instead of searching for a word, choose one of our quick category searches from this drop down list. Then choose a sub-category from the box on the right. By clicking between the category list that on the left and the sub-category list on the right, you can see pictures of all our items. This is a great way to find what you want at Secrets.

3. Choose a designer
Another alternative is to select one of our designers from the drop down list, and can visit their specific website.
