Free Motion Feathers Pillow
Shown below is a photograph of the bed pillow case made using these nine 5x7 designs. It has been stitched in coloured thread to allow you to see the stitching, tone on tone (white on white) would be more elegant.
These 9 designs, although drawn to work together can also be used individually on any quilting project.
There are no registration marks with these designs, so when combining them you will need to be able to hoop reasonably accurately.
Quilted Feather Placemats
Placemats are always useful, especially those that can be washed in the washing machine.
For these you can use your fat quarters from your stash, even mismatched ones. The shape and embroidery will unify them. The finished size is 12½" x 12½", the shape is unusual.
From one fat quarter, plus backing and batting, you will get one placemat plus enough binding to use on the edges.
These 4 designs, although drawn to work together can also be used individually on any quilt or project.
