PC Designer Software
The PC-Designer program for Pfaff is excellent for editing and customizing designs. Simple enough for a beginner to handle, yet with all the features for the professional digitizer. You can utilize all the Pfaff Sewing Machine built-in stitches, because they are available to you in this software. You are able to digitize your own 9mm and MAXI stitches which you can then save to your machine's memory.

Creative Digitizing can be purchased separately but to use it you will need to have previously purchased Creative Customizing. The dongle that is provided with the Creative Customizing will be required for the operation of Creative Digitizing.
This package will allow you to convert from most formats (but not ART or JEF) into a variety of formats including the new VIP for the 2140. You can customize designs, add text and format designs for the large hoop.
Pfaff 7570,7560,7562 owners who do not have a cable to connect their sewing machine with the computer will need to purchase a CABLE KIT as an extra.
The new Pfaff VIP software has no links with the PC-Designer software and is not an upgrade as such, but it will provide the cable to connect the computer to the machine.
The new Pfaff 2140 has a cable provided with the new machine.
Creative Customizing comes with a USB dongle as standard and if you wish to change to a serial port dongle it is the purchasers? responsibility to return the dongle to the Head office of Pfaff in your country including proof of purchase. A serial port dongle will then be mailed back to the purchaser.
Creative Digitizing will have many features including 100 fill patterns. There are a number of graphics functions which will allow you to edit various image formats from within the software. An automatic outline tool allows you to instantly click outlines in single, double or quadruple stitch. This is really impressive. The trend is to instant digitizing of reworked graphics images. Designs can be saved in a .CAN format which allows you to make alterations to the design such as resizing and altering fills, before creating the stitches.
