If you digitize, YOU NEED Pre-Design Studio!
The easy-to-use vector drawing program, especially made for embroiderers and machine quilters (and a big help for garment pattern drafters too!).
Drawings made with Pre-Design Studio can be used in many ways:
1. Create redwork / quilt / fringe edge applique designs for your embroidery machine
Trace any bitmap, copy, paste. Then choose "convert to stitches" to send to your embroidery machine to create redwork / quilt designs or fringe applique.

2. Use as artwork (solid color bitmaps, or vector EMF, or even PEM format) for your embroidery digitizing software
Trace any bitmap, copy, paste. Fill with color and choose "Export Color Bitmap". Open this solid color bmp in your Auto Digitizing or embroidery digitizing software (any brand) and generate stitches. In this example I used AutoPunch and the gradation function in PE-Design 8.

3. Print at actual size to create your own paper panto rolls for your longarm quilt system
Create your own panto rolls: copy, paste, align, resize and print. Tape the pages together. Ready! Change the color of the extra rows, print and you can see where to align the laser stylus for the next row.

4. Create quilting designs (DXF format) for your computerized longarm machine - make WMF worksheets
Export to DXF for computerized longarm systems: draw in Pre-Design Studio, choose Export DXF and open in your computerized system for example IntelliQuilter*, APQS QuiltStudio*, CompuQuilter*, ProQ-Designer*

5. Trace and resize a scale garment pattern, or draft your own garment patterns
Garment pattern drafting: Trace a scale garment pattern, resize and print. Or use the ruler guides and draft your garment patterns directly in Pre-Design studio: print at actual size.
