Embroidery Designs at Secrets
Our Designers. We sell on behalf of a number of talented embroidery digitizers from around the world. Links to all their websites can be found here or by using the Choose a Designer drop down menu from our Search Box at the top right hand corner of any page on our site.
Searching for Designs. We have thousands of embroidery designs available and reccommend you view them in our Design Category or by using our Search Box. Click through for detailed information on browsing our site
Design Format. When you order you will be able to see the formats available in a drop down menu by the Add to Cart Button and choose the one you need. We only hold the most common formats needed. If we don’t have your format you can easily use a conversion program like Embird to convert from another format. If you are not sure which format your machine uses or would like further help with conversion look here.
Design Sizes. The hoop size is shown by the Add to Cart button for each design set. It will either show 2x2, 4x4, 5x7, 6x8 or 6x10 which is the minimum size hoop your machine will need to sew the designs. If no size is shown please contact us and give the name of the set. The Dollar Designs are all for the 4x4” hoop unless they are marked with an *. The asterix means they are for a larger hoop size.
Design Information Files. Downloaded design files include color charts and information files to help you use the designs. These generally need to be opened on your computer instead of your embroidery program. More information on different formats for the color charts and thread conversions is available here
Single Designs. All of the designs in our various designers sites are only available as sets unless they are displayed on the page as singles. We are unable to split the sets. We have around 1000 designs available for only $1 each in our Dollar Designs area. Its a great place to find singles.
Free Designs. Many of our designers offer a free embroidery design as a sample for you to try their digitizing. Freebies that have been added in the past month are displayed here. If you subscribe to our free newsletter you will be able to access our Free Designs Archive with over 500 freebies. The link to this can be found at the bottom of the newsletter.
Bonus Sets. If you order $30 from anywhere on the Secrets of Embroidery Website, you qualify for a free bonus set of designs. All current bonus sets can be viewed here. The most recent bonus set will be automatically added to your shopping cart, when the total is $30 or more. Find out how to change your bonus set at the checkout here.
Sales & Specials. Go to our Sales page to find all our current promotions. The specials will be calculated and show at the checkout as shown here.
Opening Designs on Computer and Transfer to Machine. All our designs are to be used with an embroidery machine. You will need an embroidery software program to view them on your computer. Find out more about this here.
Viewing Images. Our images are all copyrighted and protected. If you have trouble viewing images on our site you can find out more about your computer settings here.
Contact a Designer. Just use the Contact Us button (at the top of any page on our site) to send an email with your design query. Include the name of the design store, the name of the set and the page number (as shown in the browser address bar) and we will get the designer to contact you.
Zipped Files. All designs and freebies are downloaded from our site in zipped files. You will need to unzip the files before you can access the designs.
Copyright. All our designs are fully copyrighted. Find out our Terms and Conditions to see how you can use them.
Delivery on CD. All our designs are available for instant download and we are happy to help you learn how to download them. We can also try sending them by an email attachment if you are unable to download. Some of our designers will send their designs on CD for an additional cost. If they have this option available, it will show at the checkout as shown here where you can add it to your order.
Hand Embroidery. All of our designs are digitized designs which can be downloaded to your computer for transfer to an embroidery sewing machine so they can be stitched out. We don't supply the finished patches or projects, or patterns for hand embroidery.
Custom Digitizing. Sorry, but we do not provide a custom digitizing service. Our Embroidery Links area has various links to different designers. Some of them do custom digitizing and may be able to help you. |
