Paypal Payments

Paypal Payments (processed immediately unless made by Paypal e-check)

Before making your payment you will need to browse our site and add the designs and tutorials of your choice to your shopping cart, then go to the checkout.
More information is available on our Payment Option page for different methods of payment and selecting them at the checkout.

Making your Paypal Payment

Click the Buy Now button at the checkout.

You will be transfered to the Paypal Secure server to make your payment.

Enter your registered email and password and Log In.

Continue to the next page and Review Your Order.

Press the Button and wait until you are returned to the Secrets website, where you can download your order.

Important Note on Completing Your Order
When your Paypal transaction has been completed please wait for your browser to return to our site. This can take up to a minute. If you don't return to the site we will not know that you have completed your order. You will not receive the email receipt and instructions for downloading any downloadable items, and any other items will not be shipped to you. If your browser does not return automatically there is a link you can click to bring you back.

You will then be able to follow the onscreen directions for downloading. A copy of your download link and key will also be sent to you by email.

Trouble Downloading or Completing your order.

After your payment has been made. A download link appears on your screen, and a copy is also sent to you by email to download from. If you dont receive the download link and order confirmation or have trouble making your payment please check the following.

Order History in your My Secrets Account. Make sure you log-in with the email address you used for your Paypal payment. Your order should show here and you can reset your download link and try again.

Alternative Email Address. If you used a different email for your Paypal Account the order confirmation may have been sent there. Check your Secrets email account and your Paypal email account.

Online Error. When you are making your payment with Paypal, there is a delay of a few seconds until you are transferred back to our site where you receive the confirmation of your order and any download links you may need. Sometimes, if this connection is too slow, the session will time out and your order will not be completed successfully, although the payment is processed. If this happens contact us as described below.

Duplicate Payment. If you had trouble completing the order and pressed the payment button twice your account may have been charged twice. Just contact us with the info below and both your Paypal Transaction IDs and we will refund the duplicate payment.

Paypal e-check. Usually Paypal payments are an instant transaction, but sometimes the payment is processed as an e-check. Your order will not be available to download until your funds have been approved by paypal

This happens when Paypal doesn't have a record of a current credit card as a back-up to your account (even if you never use it). It is not something within our control from this end. You could check with your Paypal manager for more information about this.

Regarding e-check payments, this is the advice we have received from Paypal. "This eCheck payment will remain "Uncleared" until the funds have cleared from the sender's account, which usually takes 4 business days. If you are shipping an item, please do not ship your item until the funds have cleared into your PayPal account."

As soon as Paypal notify us your payment has been cleared, we will update your order and send you a download link.

Write to Secrets for Help.
Sometimes there can be a server error at the time of completing your order. Even if you have waited and followed all directions, you may not be able to download.

Please email us with the following information. We can then locate your order and make it available for you to download. You do not need to make your payment again.

Item or Order Number Your Secrets order number or download key. This is the same as your Paypal Item number. You can find this by logging into your Paypal account at www.paypal.com

Email Address Send the email you use for your My Secrets Account and also the email you used for your Paypal Account if they are different.
Transaction ID Your receipt or transaction number for your Paypal Payment
Name Your name and also the name of your Paypal Account if it is different
Products Ordered A list of the products you ordered

Find What You're Looking For

Our Search Box appears at the top right of every page.

There are 3 ways to use it:

1. Search
Choose the type of product you are looking for: This is pre-set to Designs and will automatically search all embroidery designs on our site. You can choose from the drop down list to refine your search to one type of product, eg "Tutorials" or make it broader eg "All Products"

Enter a search word: Easy - just click in this box, type in your search word and click on the GO button. Type in lowercase and don't use plurals, Don't use words like "the" or "and". Use American spelling.

You will see pictures of the designs found that match your search. Click on the pictures you are interested in to see the designs in full and all the details you need to know (description, size, price, special offers, etc).

2. Choose a category
Instead of searching for a word, choose one of our quick category searches from this drop down list. Then choose a sub-category from the box on the right. By clicking between the category list that on the left and the sub-category list on the right, you can see pictures of all our items. This is a great way to find what you want at Secrets.

3. Choose a designer
Another alternative is to select one of our designers from the drop down list, and can visit their specific website.
