These useful placemats/traycloths will become part of your daily life. The pot forms a pocket for holding your flatware and serviette. The finished measurement of the pot with the flowers is 9½ x 4¾" but made in the 5x7 hoop.
It will be necessary to re-hoop using registration marks, but Heather will talk you
through all that, making it amazingly easy. Detailed instructions come in a pdf file.
This project is not recommended for beginners.
The only sewing you need to do is to make the placemat. A suitable placemat can be purchased or you could use pre-quilted fabric and just finish off the edges.
If you are going on a picnic, put your knives, forks and serviettes into the pockets and roll the placemats up. Tie with a ribbon.
