Summer Blooms, companions to Spring Blooms, are 3D flower designs. Each bloom part is made in the hoop using silk organza, cotton organdy or silk velvet. Simple hand sewing completes the construction. There are four designs in this set, a Daisy, Hydrangea, Rose and Rosebud design. The Rosebud design in the sample photo is
attached to the Rose, but may also be used as a stand-alone design. Combine these designs with the Dogwood, Violets and Pansies of the Spring Blooms collection for a truly eye-catching project!
All designs fit in the 4x4 hoop although there are also 5x7 hoopings of grouped designs included for your convenience. Complete step-by-step instructions with illustrations and lots of photos are included in a PDF file. Use these pretty flowers as corsages all by themselves, or add them to other projects for a lovely "grew in my garden" look!
