Girly Girl Purse & Headband

Girly Girl© is a simple purse pattern that has many possibilities. Choose favorite fabrics from your own collection, mixing and matching fabrics to create a purse that is "sew you". Every girl needs a new hair accessory now and then too. Create a fun raw edge ruffled headband to compliment your new purse.
The Girly Girl© project includes an embroidery design for the 5x7" hoop plus a comprehensive set of instructions, including color photos, for making the purse and headband. Templates for heart shaped and round yo-yos are also included.
Girly Girl© was designed with many "blank" areas for you to add your own personal embellishments. Choose tone on tone fabrics and add some machine embroidery, quilting or decorative stitches to the front pocket or to the back.
Purse measurements: 9 1/2" high x 8" wide.
This purse project includes the embroidery design shown below, which fits a 5x7" embroidery hoop. The design can be embroidered on the back of the purse.

Here is an example of what you can do with the Girly Girl© pattern.
Use some silk fabrics & lace to create a crazy quilted front pocket. Machine embroidery is from Hope's Lace Shaping collection (note instructions for crazy quilting are not included in this pattern).
