Animal Trapunto

Trapunto is method of hand or machine quilting where extra padding is added behind the top layer of a quilt so that the area inside the quilting lines puffs out more than the surrounding surface of the top.
Note the lovely stippling on each block. This creates a lovely, interesting background that enhances the 3D effect when your design "stands out" after stitching. Full instruction included for an easy-to-make collection.
These delightful sets of animals on trapunto quilt squares will brighten up any room. You can use the blocks as single squares or together for projects like a quilt, a table runner, or placemats for childrens' parties. Use all blocks together to make a wall hanging by attaching 3 loops of ribbon, then thread through a little piece of wood.
