Trapunto is a method of hand or machine quilting where extra padding is added behind the top layer of a quilt so that the area inside the quilting lines puffs out more than the surrounding surface of the top. You can use these quilt blocks to teach little ones the alphabet, or why not use the letters to spell out the child's name.
