"I fell in love with Superior Threads"

I fell in love with Superior Threads. I had never seen a product quite like Perfect Quilter. This is the most incredible thread...it is 100% cotton with the most beautiful variegated shades. This was just the start of an entirely new way of thinking about thread.

I do a lot of unusual things with unusual thread. I have so many creative interests and Superior Threads has something for all of my sewing passions.

1. I am a landscape quilt artist...for this Superior has the most awesome thread called Rainbows. This variegated thread has one-inch segments of gorgeous colors that make beautifully realistic plants, flowers, water, pathways, rocks and trees. It is a joy to use and always brings comments from admirers of my work.

2. I am a machine embroiderer who creates the antique look using Superior Machine Quilting thread in the embroidery machine. The beautiful matte look of this thread adds the realistic look of hand embroidery.

3. I Crochet by Machine. I have written a book called Crochet CruditÃƒÂ©s from which you make garments, baby quilts, shawls, Barbie accessories and the most wonderful purses, all sewn with the embroidery machine and the Perfect Quilter and Poly Quilter Threads.

4. But I needed more. I wanted shades of tone-on-tone threads so that I could recreate the look of old fashioned laces and edgings by Crocheting them with decorative stitches. So after seeing what I had done with the Perfect Quilter, Superior Threads thought I should have my very own six colors of their Poly Quilter, another of their fine threads that I had fallen in love with. My line is called Poly Quilter Shades. With it I have crocheted Pillowcase girls on the embroidery machine. They really are quite amazing.

5. I use a LOT of heavy weight stabilizer. Superior's new Dissolve-4x is a miracle! It is substantial enough to sew heavy threads into crochet and then wash out in a matter of seconds. For any of you who hate how much difficulty you have in washing out heavy stabilizer, you must try Dissolve-4x. It's Fabulous!

Every new product line that Superior Threads creates brings joy and excitement into my creative life. I can't wait to find out what's next on the drawing board! Thanks for making my life SEW SUPERIOR-ly exciting!

Enter a search word: Easy - just click in this box, type in your search word and click on the GO button. Type in lowercase and don't use plurals, Don't use words like "the" or "and". Use American spelling.

You will see pictures of the designs found that match your search. Click on the pictures you are interested in to see the designs in full and all the details you need to know (description, size, price, special offers, etc).

2. Choose a category
Instead of searching for a word, choose one of our quick category searches from this drop down list. Then choose a sub-category from the box on the right. By clicking between the category list that on the left and the sub-category list on the right, you can see pictures of all our items. This is a great way to find what you want at Secrets.

3. Choose a designer
Another alternative is to select one of our designers from the drop down list, and can visit their specific website.
