Angela Molloy lives in one of the loveliest parts of  New Zealand in the north of the north island, a wonderful place called Ocean Beach Whangarei Heads.  She lives there with her partner ( Nik), two dogs ( Neeysha and Sharn), two horses (Sunny and Clyde) and one cat (Smudgy).  All these pets are a big part of Angela's life and inspiration for her art.  Angela also works on an organic dairy farm that backs on to her front door step. The birds featured in her hand drawn clip art are all native to New Zealand.  The Pukeko are bluey black in color and are commonly found in the wetter areas throughout New Zealand like swamps, lake edges and the clumps of rushes in pastures. The North Island Brown Kiwi are brown in coloration with loose, coarse, bristly feathers and dark legs. They can be found widely distributed in forested areas,  and are high density in native Northland exotic forests and scrubland.  The Kiwis are New Zealand's national bird with New Zealanders even calling themselves Kiwis.
