Have you ever been to a special sewing event and been given a pouch to wear around your neck to hold you room key and credit cards? Create you own unique pouch using this lovely pattern and comprehensive illustrated instructions.
This small purse is designed to be worn around the neck or to criss-cross over the shoulder and features heirloom techniques that have been re-created in the embroidery hoop. The top is adorned with embroidered cathedral lace windows and the bottom features an Australian windowpane effect using silk organza.
The back is embellished with corded pintucks and antique embroidery stitches. This back of the purse was designed on a PFAFF 2170 using an exclusive pintuck foot with a decorative guide. You can substitute any decorative stitch on the back or simply leave it plain. Change the colors and fabrics to black silk and you have a beautiful evening purse for that special occasion. Finished size measures 5 ¼” wide x 8” tall.
This is a pattern with instructions only. No embroidery designs are included. To make this pretty pouch you will need to purchase Hope’s Cathedral Lace Windows and Madeira Appliqué embroidery collection.
