Love Your Brother

A book of projects and special techniques for Brother ULT series machines This 90 page book can be downloaded immediately, and features the use of embroidery designs in various projects. Susan worked for a Brother dealer for 6 years and when she did samples for the store, she was always asked "How did you do that?" Realizing that there was a need for people to see how well this machine could sew as well as embroider, Susan spent 3 years compiling this book.     There is a nine page "Basics" section which familiarizes the beginner with tools, needles, threads, stabilizers, feet and other goodies.  There are 18 pages of actual size patterns, black and white photos and diagrams along with a 5 page Photo Gallery in color that showcases all the projects.  The projects include fun and useful ideas such as Hanger & Sachet Gift Set, Ribbon and Lace Pillowcases, Cutwork Table Runner and Beaded Fringe Pillow.    The book is suitable for beginners to experienced seamstresses and embroiderers.  All the projects include embroidery and the special techniques included are: bobbin work how to make beautiful hemstitches corded entredeux satin stitched corded edge buttonhole scallops mock tatting and Susan's own technique, Easy Madiera Applique Love Your Brother covers the ULT series of Brother machines - 2001 to 2003. When Susan mentions that she used the instruction book (with page number included) she is referring to the 2001 model.  If you have a different model, the page numbers may be slightly different. This book is written so that even those who are cofident with other brands of machines could use the projects by looking at the pictures of the stitches for reference.
