Old Fashioned Christmas Appliques are four nostalgic designs suited for any of your holiday projects. Use them for towels, greeting cards, table linens, pillows, wall hangings, even a winter cardigan for yourself! The Patchwork Stocking and the Peace Dove utilize a thin layer of cotton batting under the applique fabric to give them a interesting 3D texture. Santa's beard is also a piece of white cotton batting, the stitches in the beard detailing hold it firmly in place. A layer of sheer organza in the lantern makes the candle look like it's really glowing. Applique directions and special instructions are included in the color charts. All four designs are sized for the 5x7 hoop.
