ˇ        Spray Adhesive

ˇ        Heat Resistant Batting

ˇ        Fabrics of your choice

Hot Plate Holder Directions

1)    Embroider the 4x4 design.

2)   Fold the small design on the fold line and iron.

3)   Hoop stabilizer in 5x7 hoop and stitch out placement line.

4)   Spray material with temporary adhesive and place over placement line.

5)   Stitch out holding stitch and additional placement line in material colour and complete the rest of the design.

1

Turn hoop over and place heat resistant batting, then material over the back of the design, keeping in place with temporary adhesive spray.

2

Carefully turn right side up and Pin 4x4 design in place using placement line as guide. Pin through all layers outside of stitch area.
1 Place a small piece of tear away stabilizer over where the top layers meet. This helps your embroidery foot not get caught under the 4x4 design.
4
Stitch the placement lines that hold all  layers together.
5
Cut all material, batting and stabilizer away from outside the design area, both front and back of design.
6
Stitch satin stitch outline.
7
Remove design from stabilizer
8
To use, place a thumb in the little ‘pocket’ you created and make handling hot plates and casseroles a breeze this holiday season.

For more details read in conjunction with the colourchart you will receive with your design set..
