Carolyn grew up thinking that kitchen tables were for sewing on in the daytime and eating off at night. As an artist, Carolyn had been working in pastels and watercolors but the medium soon changed to thread when she discovered machine embroidery. After 26 years in the education system involving computing, she is now working as a digitizing teacher and consultant with Pfaff, Husqvarna and Artista software and machines in Hobart, Tasmania.
