This beautiful commemorative design should be sewn on water soluble material. Cornelia recommends two or three layers of soluvlies or vilene. She also prefers to use metallic thread and polyester for embroidering lace.

Cornelia studied fashion-design and arts in Munich, and worked as an embroidery-designer in Switzerland for the
Jakob Schläpfer company, one of the most famous embroidery design-houses. She continued learning more about
the technical aspects of embroidery and punching in Italy. In 1985, she acceped an offer from the Pfaff Company
in Kaiserslautern. For over 8 eight years she worked for the Pfaff Company in Kaiserslautern and was responsible
for embroidery design, punching techniques, software-development, training of customers and the presentation of
the company's own industrial digitizing-systems at international trade-fairs. In 1994, Cornelia started her own
business as a designer and custom-digitizer. Cornelia is still responsible for Pfaff-Individual line, the custom digitizing
for Pfaff home-embroidery machines. Over the years, she has participated in several embroidery-contests and has
won several awards.  Cornelia lives in Germany and with her partner and her Persian cat Chouxchoux.
