Learn how to create and embroider multiple hoop designs, with this tutorial for any embroidery software. The techniques in this tutorial will teach you how to embroider multiple-hoop designs (designs that require more than one hooping) and explain how to create your own multi-hoop designs that line up perfectly! This lesson is different from most of Heather's previous tutorials, because it focuses on how to embroider the multi-hoop designs, not on how to digitize them.

There are many different ways that you can create and embroider multi-hoop designs. Heather uses basting stitches to align her designs because not only do they help line up the pieces of the design perfectly, they add extra stabilization to the design (which also means more predictable results.) If you follow this guide and see how to embroider the three designs included, you'll have lots of ideas for creating your own fantastic multi-hoop designs!

Pictured below are the 3 designs that are included with the tutorial. The pansy basket design requires a hoop of at least 5" x 7". You will learn to stitch these out using multi-hooping as you follow this lesson.

Instead of searching for a word, choose one of our quick category searches from this drop down list. Then choose a sub-category from the box on the right. By clicking between the category list that on the left and the sub-category list on the right, you can see pictures of all our items. This is a great way to find what you want at Secrets.

3. Choose a designer
Another alternative is to select one of our designers from the drop down list, and can visit their specific website.
