A Stitch Affair
A Stitch Affair is run by the Visagie family in Pretoria, South Africa. Elsabé has a degree in psychology and is very fond of needlework, cooking and fine arts - her love for this craft inspired her to leave her previous occupation to persue the art of embroidery. Fred, her husband, is an engineer and financial advisor who avidly supports the family ventures. Their 2 daughters, Liselette and Caro-Mé also make embroidery designs. Liselette is currently busy with her master's degree in law while Caro-Mé is doing a degree in Psychology.
Betty Sunset Threads
This site is in loving memory of Betty Cauthen who passed away on Sept. 13, 2004 after a short illness of
liver cancer. She will be sadly missed by many. Betty with the assistance of her husband Bill, spent many years
digitizing and travelling around the US to embroidery functions and meeting her customers.
Bill continues to run this site in Betty's memory.
Bobbi's Treasures
Bobbi lives in Dayton, Ohio with her husband and son. She wanted to combine her love of Scrapbooking with her passion for
machine embroidery. Unable to find suitable designs for scrapbooking, she digitized her own! With her specialized designs and acid
free stabilizers, you can make acid free scrapbook pages too.

Reneah Raffay is a software instructor who has become sought after at many conferences and retreats throughout the USA.
Reneahs classes have become a favorite of many. She has developed her own style of instructing how to understand and use the

Francesca's Delightful Designs
Italian born Francesca has lived in Canada for three years, although she comes from South Africa where she taught
several well-known digitizers. She runs a successful custom linen home industry, all with embroidery of course, and
she embroiders clothing and caps with company logos, just for a change.
I'm In Stitches
In loving memory of Leslie Mitchell - Leslie passed away on the 14th of December 2003 at the age of 58. Leslie Mitchell lived
in Johannesburg, South Africa with her hubby, Brian, her 77 year young Mom, 2 GSDs Cheri & Chas (both 2 years old) and Luke,
a black X-Lab/ Retriever. She leaves behind 6 grown kids and 9 gorgeous grandchildren. Some are living very close by while
2 families live in Cape Town, South Africa, one family across the water in Auckland, New Zealand and another in the UK.
Into Embroidery
Lodia lives with her husband in Pretoria, South Africa. Her daughter and two grandchildren live in England, and Lodia
would love to live closer to them someday. Lodia has been digitizing since 2000 and has many cute designs.
Needle in Motion
Pat Courtney likes to create redwork designs that are fun and easy to embroider. She has been a fan of Ruby McKim’s ever since
she started quilting. Pat purchased a copy of her 1931 book, 101 Patchwork Patterns, and used several of her designs in her first quilt,
a sampler. This love of redwork has turned into an addiction and broadened to include many other designs, that are very popular with the
Redwork Quilt revival.
Sherona Designs
Sharon lives with her husband and 3 cats – Magic, Ginger and Lisa in Central California. She has three children and eight grandchildren.
Sharon has been drawing on the computer for over 20 years, starting out as a CAD drafter for a major company in the days before icons and
menus. Her hobbies are gardening and sewing and cooking and she especially likes to make her own patterns of animals to
sew and, of course, machine embroidering. Digitizing was a logical extension of her skills and her passion for s
